Application
Use T-Top Developer/Peroxide liquid to activate T-Top Fade Powder, this will make the hair lighter. Here are the percentage of the formula indicates the strength of the peroxide:
- 3% (Vol. 10)- Not suitable for dark hairs. It’s ideal for dyed hair or 1-2 level of lifting for light hair color
- 6% (Vol. 20) – Suites for brown hair color. This lifts about 2-3 levels of colors
- 9% (Vol 30) – Helps to lift 3-4 levels of hair color, but don’t leave it for too long on the scalp it may cause irritation
- 12% (Vol 40) – It can provide high-lift, but it can also damage. Make sure it does not stay on the hair longer than 10-15 minutes
Create a section on the hair. Section it from top to bottom.
Mix T-Top Fade Powder and the developer. The ratio should be 1:2 (Fade Powder:Developer) and the mixture should be consistent and no lumps in it.
Apply the mixture on the hair. First, apply the color on the tips to mid-lengths of the hair. Wait for 20 minutes for the color to sit, then apply the color to the roots. It makes the color on the hair even.
Apply it on the higher section. Once the bottom section is done, undo the secured section and start applying it. When the hair is all covered, put shower cap to cover your hair then leave it for 30-45 minutes.
Wash the hair with shampoo and follow it with the conditioner.
Rinse the hair and let it dry.
